FireAngel, one of Europe’s leading suppliers of smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms, has further enhanced its popular connected offering with the launch of its latest Spec Connected Wireless Gateway, which facilitates the remote monitoring of multiple FireAngel Specification devices.
Eliminating the time consuming and costly requirement for channelling or trunking, the advanced Gateway streamlines installation and retrofitting processes, as it is compatible with all FireAngel Specification mains and battery-powered smoke, heat, carbon monoxide (CO) alarms and assisted living solutions.
Designed to support private properties, the compliant and easy to fit Gateway allows remote monitoring and maintenance of FireAngel Specification Smart RF enabled products via the free FireAngel App, with instant notifications and easy testing.
This supports installers in providing maximum fire and CO protection for customers or multiple properties in the most cost effective and efficient way, as the system can be continuously adapted and upgraded to meet changes in individual or property requirements.
As FireAngel’s Specification Range features Smart RF Technology, multiple devices can be wirelessly interlinked together onto a private network through the addition of a Smart RF Radio Module into each alarm.
Creating a wireless network takes just seconds to set up and provides installers, maintenance teams and nominated individuals instant access to device diagnostic information, whilst also offering the ability to remotely test and silence alarm networks using the free FireAngel Connected App (iOS and Android compatible) and can be either free standing or wall mounted for enhanced ease of installation.
Optional alerts and updates to any smart device are also available, with all alarm information stored securely within the FireAngel Cloud to provide a digital trail of due diligence that is updated in real time to evidence compliance with regard to fire and CO safety.
Each Spec Connected Wireless Gateway is supplied with an Ethernet network cable and features LED indicators for power supply, network connection and error messages, to provide complete transparency regarding the live status of the entire network.
The addition of the FireAngel Spec Connected Wireless Gateway can support installers in further increasing the level of protection available by activating a connected smart system that utilises Artificial Intelligence and unique Predict™ technology that provides a fire risk level, accurate to each property and supports the prevention of future fires.
Steve Boggis, Trade Business Unit Director at FireAngel, said: “As one of the industry’s leading suppliers, we are committed to continuously developing, manufacturing and supplying intelligent fire safety solutions that not only increase the level of protection available, but substantially streamline the installation and management processes for professionals.
“Our latest Spec Connected Wireless Gateway is a reflection of this dedication and supports our investment into IoT technology. We are looking forward to continuing working closely with electrical contractors and social housing, to further extend our popular Specification Range to ensure we support professionals in consistently and successfully fulfilling the requirements of each project in the most efficient and compliant way.”
