RF Solutions launches the RIoT MINIHUB – an RF and Wi-Fi gateway

For 30 years, RF Solutions Ltd have focussed on manufacturing quality wireless switching solutions using RF (radio frequency). In 2022, the manufacturer launched its first ever dual-band RIoT Receiver, an RF and Wi-Fi switching unit for operating outdoor lighting, garage door and gate motors, machinery and more. RIoT combines RF/Lora and the internet to provide smart device, monitoring and control.

Now in 2023, RF Solutions is officially launching the RIoT MINIHUB (part of the NEW RIoT Series), an RF and Wi-Fi gateway that also allows end users to add app control to any of the latest 868MHz RF Solutions receivers.

The RIoT MINIHUB can be used to link a smart device via an app to an RF receiver, enabling wireless switching from anywhere in the world via Wi-Fi.

RIoT Control Apps

There are two versions of the RIoT Control app available on Android and IOS: a standard version, a simple-to-use transmitter with preset numbered buttons. This allows the end user to choose from different transmitter handsets i.e., 4 button / 6 button with all on / all off to a 16-button remote.

The RIoT Control Pro provides advanced functionality features which enables the user to setup and create their own transmitter with a customised button setup area where you can select different button types, button-naming and setting automatic relay timers.

Both apps enable the user to also monitor the status of paired relays using the ‘feedback’ LED indicator (acknowledgement feature). This is useful if you are operating receiver outputs you cannot see.

The RIoT MINIHUB is compatible with the latest revisions of MAINSLINK, FERRET, ELITE, HORNETPRO, TRAP, RIoT-RX, 725TRX and SLIMDIN 868MHz RF receivers. To find out more on compatible RF Solutions receivers – Click Here.
