To make it even easier to recommend to customers, Resideo has slimmed down its range of Honeywell Home T6 smart thermostats. The range, which previously consisted of four SKU options, is now available in two easy-to-select models: the T6R wall-mounted and T6R table stand.
The two models will continue to offer smart automated control to help users save energy. Both are compatible with any boiler and any system, including combi boilers, OpenTherm and heat pumps, and work with smart home devices. A ‘two-relay’ wireless receiver for control of central heating, hot water or two heating zones,1 comes with both versions, as does geo-fencing – a feature which enables customers to adjust their home heating based on their location.
The only difference between the two models is that the wall-mounted version needs wiring to a 230V AC supply, whilst the table-stand model is plugged into a power supply via a cable.
Martin Wilson, Resideo’s Sales Director, says, “By changing the range from four different options to two, we are making it easier for installers to sell the benefits to customers, and for customers to choose the right thermostat to suit their needs. End-users can still benefit from all the smart features, and installers can save time when specifying, installing and programming the thermostat.”
